Coach Hire
Typically coaches’ range in size from 16 to 69 seats, 16 seat, 24 seat, 36 seat 49 seat or 69 seat are the most frequently available sizes in Great Britain. There are no set rules so you will find somewhere in the country 19 seat coaches, 22 seat coaches and 35 seat coaches. Our experienced sales advisors will help you in deciding the right size of coach for your group travel.
Within each size of coach there are basically three types. Standard coaches, Luxury coaches (often known as Executive) and VIP coaches. The type of coach will depend upon the on-board facilities you require and your budget.
Standard coaches do not have toilets and lack some of the refinements that you will find on a luxury coach but are perfect as an economical solution for your coach travel.
16 seat Luxury coaches
Typically these coaches will have air-conditioning, semi reclining seats and DVD; many will also have a P.A. system.
24 seat Luxury Coaches
Typically these coaches will have semi-reclining seats, air-conditioning, DVD and a P.A. system
36 seat Luxury Coaches
Typically these coaches will have 36 semi-reclining seats, air-conditioning, DVD and a P.A. system
49 seat Luxury Coach
Typically these coaches will have semi-reclining seats, W.C., air-conditioning, DVD and a P.A. system
69 seat double deck Luxury Coaches
Typically these coaches will have semi-reclining seats, W.C., air-conditioning, DVD, a drinks making facility and a P.A. system
Larger Luxury Coaches
Luxury coaches of up to 83 seats are also available in some areas so please ask our sales team for further information.
VIP Coaches
12-16 seat VIP Coaches
Typically leather reclining seats, tables coupled with air conditioning, P.A. system, CD/Cassette radio/player, drinks facility, refrigerator, Video/DVD player plus monitors, and curtained or tinted windows
22 seat VIP Coaches
Typically leather reclining seats, tables coupled with air conditioning, P.A. system, CD/Cassette radio/player, drinks facility, refrigerator, Video/DVD player plus monitors, and curtained or tinted windows
32-34 VIP Coaches
These coaches are basically a modified version of the 49 seat executive coaches, with full capacity seating for 44 passengers with one table to minimum capacity seating for 32 or 34 passengers with 6 tables. Typically leather reclining seating coupled with air conditioning, washroom/ W.C. P.A. system, CD/Cassette radio/player, refrigerator and drinks machine, Video/DVD player plus monitors, and curtained or tinted windows
Luggage space in Coaches & Minibuses
It is important to recognise that space is not unlimited in coaches or minibuses. General rules of thumb are outlined below as guidance only – it is however at the passenger’s responsibility to make sure they have adequate space for luggage. When you are considering coach hire with significant amounts of luggage one of our operations team can give you guidance but we always advise – be conservative – and order a larger vehicle. In addition ‘trailers’ can be hired for certain vehicles at an extra cost.
